Polyurethane casting foam (2-Component PU Foam)
Professional polyurethane foam (also: PU foam / PUR foam ) for hand mixing and pouring . Choose between low density for lightweight filling or higher density for comfort and support. Ideal for filling cavities , making seat cushions , and creating props/models .
⚠️ Note (diisocyanates & training): Since August 2023, polyurethane with a diisocyanate content > 0.1% may only be processed by companies whose employees have completed the required training. Ensure you have the correct training/certification before starting, in accordance with EU regulations.
Why choose castable PU foam?
✓Easy processing: 2-component, manual mixing and pouring into mould or cavity.
✓Control over expansion & density: from light ( low density ) to comfort ( higher density ).
✓Fills large volumes: perfect for large cavities and molded parts.
✓Professional quality: consistent cell structure and reliable results.
What is the difference between 2-component PU foam and 1K PU foam?
Two-component PU foam is pourable , reacts with the mixing of A and B, and provides controlled expansion and density. One-component PU foam (in a gun can) reacts with moisture and is intended for sealing/assembly – not for pouring applications.
Can I pour into molds?
Yes. Use a suitable mold (not heated), apply release agent if necessary, and pour in a thin stream. Allow for expansion space.
What density should I choose for seat cushions?
Choose a higher density (such as Flexible 280) for comfort, support, and durability; lower density (Flexible 50) is better for lightweight padding.
Advice & order
