How does it work?

Creating a 3D baby hand or foot mold is easy with our step-by-step method: 

Step 1: Mix the 3D Gel with water and pour it into a mixing cup.
Step 2: Dip the hand or foot into the gel and wait 3 minutes for it to harden.
Step 3: Carefully remove the hand or foot from the mold.
Step 4: Mix the porcelain plaster with water and carefully pour it into the mold.
Step 5: Let the plaster harden for 30 minutes .
Step 6: Remove the mold and touch up any small details with a skewer.

NOTE: Depending on which cup you use, you can create: 

• x3 baby hands with the 550 ml mixing cup
• x2 baby/child hands with the 1100 ml mixing cup 
• x1 child hand (up to 12 years old) with the 2000 ml mixing cup

Tips for a perfect result!

Pay attention to the hand position: Make sure the fingertips touch the palm to avoid air bubbles.
Use correct mixing ratios: See guidelines below.
Provide a quiet environment: This makes the process easier and prevents movement during printing.

NOTE: Not all hand positions are suitable. Avoid positions that trap air in the mold. See the chart below for the best hand positions.
