River Table Epoxy

Side table by Emiel Noorlander

River Tables and related art pieces are all the rage!

Do you want to create such a beautiful unique table yourself?

It's easier than you think with a bit of skill.

Here you will find primer epoxy, river table epoxy, clear epoxy dyes and opaque epoxy dyes. Metallic pigments for epoxy and fluorescent dyes.

Here you will find:

  • epoxy to pre-treat the table, such as universal epoxy or the new SAM Laminating Epoxy Resin. Treat the wood with this. Especially those points that will soon be covered with a thick layer of river epoxy. If the wood is not varnished, air can escape from the wood when the thick layer of river epoxy is poured. Those air bubbles then get stuck in the thick layer and that can have an undesirable effect.
  • Epoxy for pouring the river such as the Epoxy Casting Resin Clear or Deep Cast or the new SAM Deep Epoxy Resin or SAM River & Art Epoxy Resin. These epoxies can be cast in thicker layers and have a long working time. This strongly depends on the total volume that you pour in one go. So read the data sheets carefully.
  • Clear dyes for epoxy. This allows you to create beautiful colors that leave the epoxy very clear and transparent. The more dye, the brighter the color.
  • Non-transparent dyes give a very nice solid looking effect.
  • Fluorescent powder gives beautiful light effects in the dark.
  • Metallic pigments give a beautiful color with a metallic effect
  • The necessary sanding and polishing agents are of course also here.
